Giovanni Battista Piranesi<\/strong> 1720\u20131778<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An important collection of original engravings. Giovanni Battista Piranesi and Francesco Piranesi were engravers, architects and theorists of Italian architecture. Their engraved tables, marked by a dramatic intonation, appear inspired by an all-Italian idea of \u200b\u200bdignity and magnificence, expressed through the grandeur and isolation of the architectural elements, in order to achieve a sublime feeling of grandeur of the ancient past .<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
