Artists from across the globe are invited to submit their work and join us in a grand celebration of contemporary art that transcends geographical boundaries and cultural divides.
The Chianciano Art Biennale, organized by the renowned Gagliardi Gallery in London, has been a beacon of artistic innovation and excellence for over a decade. This year, we continue our tradition of showcasing a diverse array of talent in the picturesque setting of Tuscany’s Medieval Old Town. Our artists have the unique opportunity to exhibit their work in thirteen different galleries, including the prestigious Chianciano Art Museum.
We are particularly excited to welcome 25 pre-selected artists from the London Art Biennale 2023, each bringing their unique perspectives and artistic narratives. The Chianciano Art Biennale is more than an event; it is a community of artists, critics, collectors, and art enthusiasts coming together to celebrate the power of art. Winning artists will not only receive prestigious awards and cash prizes, but they will also gain automatic approval for the London Art Biennale 2025.

Chianciano’s 13 galleries, The Clancianum Galleries, hosted the stunning contemporary artworks that transformed the 12th Century hill town in to an exciting celebration of 21st Century creativity.

The Chianciano Art Museum announces that the Art Biennale selection process will end on May 31st at 11.59 p.m. (Rome).
Our art critics will begin evaluating the submitted artworks for one of the most eclectic contemporary art exhibitions in Italy. The international appeal of the Biennale is that it offers unique opportunities and valorises promising artists, who will be selected uniquely for the exceptionality of their pictorial, sculptural and digital representations.

The distinguished variety and novelty of the artworks, which emphasise the potential and amplitude of the contemporary art scene, make the Chianciano Biennale a privileged platform for emerging as well as established artists and an extraordinary opportunity for visibility.
The selection of the artists will be published by mid-June on the official website and social media platforms of the Biennale, and delivery instructions will follow in the subsequent days.
