For two weeks in August the ninth Biennale Chianciano spread out of the Museo d’Arte di Chianciano Terme and into the historic centre, filling fourteen venues with the work of 301 artists and turning the town itself into the exhibition. It was a remarkable fortnight, and the response from artists, collectors and visitors was everything we had hoped for. The complete award results are now published online, with an image of every awarded work.
The record covers every award of the ninth edition, arranged in the following sections:
- Grand Prize

Grand Prize
The Grand Prize of the ninth edition was awarded to Del Giudice for Donne, Madre, Cristiana – Dal Discorso di Giorgia Meloni, mixed media on canvas — a painting that held the room it hung in and drew visitors back for a second look.

The ninth edition
The awarded artists alone come from twenty-eight countries, and their work runs from oil and pastel to Carrara marble, cast bronze, pencil, sgraffito on plaster, ink on hanji, jacquard weaving and video.
Alongside the category awards, ten artists were selected for the London Art Biennale 2027, and the International Art Critics Award was given to five.
Our thanks go to every artist who entered and exhibited, to the collectors and visitors who came to Chianciano Terme, and to everyone whose work made the ninth edition possible. It was a privilege to show this work, and we are already looking towards the tenth. The results remain available at biennalechianciano.org/winners.
